Nintendo has always had some innovative controller design with each system except the Super Famicon. The original NES was a big step from the Atari and Commodore systems and the N64 was a rediculous step in a new direction. The Cube controller does have many elements of the N64 controller but it was new nonetheless.
I won't judge it until i've tested it myself.
It does look retarded though.

So far i like it. It's hard to really make any judgments without trying it, but it has a lot of potential and looks like a lot fun even if only a few games successfully use the new innovations. I hope they create a standard control shell so that we don't have to buy a different one for every game.

It does look somewhat "Special" but it seems like all the reviewsi have read from people who have actually used the controller like it a lot. Here's an amusing article where people submitted their guesses at what the controller would be like, back when few details were known. 4colorrebellion.com/revolution-controller-mockupsThats worth a look. Word on the street is the controller might actually be GOOD. Here's some first impressions from gamespot that i found to be pretty interesting www.gamespot.com/features/6133488/index.htmlRead it.
